Triceratops and her Children
Triceratops

As you enter the museum, the first set of displays show models of the formation of the earth, and globes picturing the position of the continents at various periods in earth history. This area contains an intricate mechanical model demonstrating earth processes such as the rock cycle, plate tectonics, biological cycles, etc., and showing how they interrelate. From there, you enter into a room with dioramas of early periods in the biologic history of the earth. The feeling you get is that you will progressively work through extensive displays showing the evolution of life during earth's history, but then things start to get a little choppy.
