Evolving Earth Foundation launches Web site May 25, 2001 - The Evolving Earth Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of their community focused Web site. The Web site will help fulfill the foundation's mission of sharing earth science knowledge, encouraging earth science education and assisting in bridging the gap between amateur and professional scientists. The discussion boards are the only part of the site that require an account; the rest of the site is completely open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to sign up and use the free discussion boards to meet other community members more intimately and to encourage conversation between scientists of all levels. Ongoing plans for Web site development include expanding knowledge resources available on the site. This will include more articles and photo galleries. Site visitors are encouraged to share their knowledge and expertise by providing articles, reviews, and journals of earth science subjects important to them.
